“One of the biggest things that we need to challenge in our thinking is how we view victims; survivors of sexual assault. We could start to challenge internally: when we hear about the claims of sexual assault, what do we typically think about? Internalising that thought, checking and asking yourself, am I questioning the behaviour of a victim survivor? How is that impacting our ability to provide support to an individual who’s experienced something?”
