Make it safe to speak up

Do you know if the people you work with feel safe to speak up? Having open and honest conversations with your co-workers through discussion groups, planning circles, via Zoom, in person, or via apps such as Slack can create a dialogue which allows everyone to reflect upon each other’s views and bring their own experience into the mix. Open conversations enable collaboration and innovation. All employees need to feel safe to speak up and contribute. Consider surveying or asking people to share what they might need to feel safe to speak up.
